Yeap! If you can send money without being a member by clicking the Send Money button.

2-Which information will I provide for membership?

You can simply log in with your phone number by pressing «Become a member in 30 seconds" and start exploring UPTION.

3-How can I switch language?

You can change the language by pressing the flag icon in the left corner of the landing page.

4-What is the reference code?

If you have a reference code that you have obtained within the scope of our campaigns, you can enter it here. If you don’t. No problem, you can continue the membership process from the Become a Member in 30 Seconds step.

5-SMS Has not receive

Click the resend button. If your problem is continue, don’t hesitate to contact us.

6-I typed my number wrong.

You can re-enter your number by pressing the back button at the top left of the screen.

7-Why do I need to verify my phone number?

We need to ensure the number belongs to you for your safety.

9-Can't change my password

You may have entered one of your information missing or incorrectly. Please check and retry. Make sure your place of birth matches the information on your ID.

10-Why are my credentials required?

We use your personal information to confirm your identity, protect you against fraud and provide our services. According to the laws and regulations, the recipient institution agreements that we must accept, and there is mandatory information that we need to obtain.

11-I can't continue the process even though I entered my information.

All the information you entered must be matched. You should make sure that you correctly entered your Turkish/Foreign ID number or date of birth.

12-Why should I give an E-mail address?

You do not have to give an E-mail address. But if you do, we can communicate with you via e-mail and give you information about your account transactions.

13-Which ID can I upload?

Turkish citizens may complete the membership process by uploading their Turkish ID, Passport, or Driver’s License, and foreign nationals may upload their Passport or Residence Permit.

14-Is my personal data safe?

Yes, all of your data is safe under the Protection of Personal Data Law.

15-What does UPTION use my personal data for?

To use the UPTION application, we need some information, including your name, phone number, and identity information. We use your personal data to confirm your identity and to provide our services.

16-What is the UPTION Card?

It is a card that you can use the money in your UPTION account for all your payments. You may connect your UPTION Card to the account (Dollar, Euro, TRY) you want and use it all over the World.

17-What is UPTION Virtual Card?

It is a virtual card that you can create in seconds and start using immediately for online spending via money in your UPTION account.

18-Can I get an UPTION Card without being a member?

No, you should have a membership with an unlimited account to have an UPTION Card.

19-Where can I use my UPTION Card?

You can use it all over the world for payments and shopping.

20-Where can I get my UPTION Card?

If you request the UPTION Card through the UPTION application, we can send it to your address. You can also get it from UPT branches, D&R and CarrefourSA store. You can start using it right away by defining your card from the "Identify your UPTION Card" step.

21-Can I change the account later that my UPTION Card is linked?

Yes, you can change your linked account from the My Cards menu whenever you want.

22-Can my UPTION Card and the account that my virtual card is linked be different?

No. The UPTION Card and the virtual card may be linked to the same account. If you change one of the accounts, the other one will be also changed.

23-Can I get more than one virtual card?

You can get one virtual card at a time. If you cancel your virtual card, you can create another up to 10 times a year.

24-Can I have more than one UPTION Card?

No. You can have one UPTION Card at a time. In case of loss or thievery, you should pay the courier and request it again.

25-Is the UPTION Card paid?

The UPTION Card is free. There is a courier fee amount of 40 TL to deliver the card to you.

26-Is the UPTION Virtual Card paid?

The UPTION Virtual Card is completely free.

27-Is there a card usage fee or subscription fee?

No, there is no card usage or subscription fee.

28-Is there a maximum spending limit for the UPTION Card?

Maximum of 100.000 TL and equivalent can be spent per day. You can set a lower limit if you want.

29-When and to whom the UPTION Card will be delivered?

The UPTION Card will be delivered to the address you specified in about 15 days. The card can be delivered only to you. If you have any problem with the delivery of the card, you can contact us.

30-Can I set a different spending limit for my virtual card than my UPTION Card?

Yes, You should go to the virtual card or UPTION Card page in the My Cards menu and then you can set a limit for your two cards separately from the Card Transaction Limits step.

31-Can I spend in different currencies with my UPTION Card?

Yes, you can spend in TRY, USD, or EUR by changing the account that your card is linked to.

32-Why is the courier coming?

To complete your membership process, we need your wet-inked signature. We send our free courier to you for membership not to tire you.

33-How can I change my E-mail?

You can change your e-mail in the profile settings menu.

34-What is an unlimited account?

It is a free account with no limits. With an unlimited account, you can transfer money freely without limits, and benefit from all of UPTION’s products and functions. You should upgrade to the Unlimited Account to get UPTION Card and Virtual Card.

35-What information do I need to provide to upgrade to the Unlimited Account?

You should provide your name, identity number, date of birth, phone number, and you should send an image of your ID, to pass the viability test. If you are a approved account holder, it is enough to send the image of your ID and your video.

36- When will my transfer be received?

If you are sending money to the name, it will reach the recipient instantly. In case of sending to the account, it is delivered instantly or on the same day, depending on the country you send it to.

37- Can I send money to a bank account?

Yes, it is possible to send money to domestic and international bank accounts.

38-Can I send money by just giving the recipient's name?

Yes, when sending money, you can enter the recipient's name and surname by selecting the "Send Money for Cash Pick Up" option. If you forward the reference code we gave you at the end of the transaction to the recipient, the recipient can get her/his money from more than 400 thousand UPT service points.

39- Does the person I send money must be a UPTION member?

The recipient should be a UPTION member only if you are using UPTION transfer feature. Receivers do not have to be a UPTION member when you transfer money to abroad or domestically.

40- In which currencies can I send money?

You can send money in USD, EUR and many local currencies from your USD, EUR and TL accounts.

41- In which domestic banks can I transfer to the account 24/7 in USD, EUR currencies?

You can transfer money 24/7 from Aktifbank and Vakıfbank to USD and EUR accounts.

42- What is the transaction fee?

The transaction fee depends on the amount and country you send money to. There is no other fee that you see when you send money and no fee will be taken from the recipient.

43- What is UPTION Transfer?

It is a feature of UPTION that provides money transfer 24/7 without fee among the UPTION members.

44- Can I send money without being a member?

Yes, you can send money on the application landing page without being a member. The limit for this transaction is $3000 or the equivalent in EUR/TRY. You can repeat this transaction 3 times a day. We will create a request for you to send money. In the case of you deposit money to the account we gave you, we will transfer the money.

46- How can I reach the Reference Number?

The reference number will be sent to your phone via SMS or you can request it from the sender.

47- Which account will be used for the money I have deposited?

Money will be deposited to one of your USD, EUR or TRY accounts depending on the currency sent.

You can deposit money with your own card.

49- Which account can I deposit money in this way?

You can deposit money only to your TRY account.

50- Can I load money to operators in Turkey?

No, this feature is not valid for numbers in Turkey.

51- Does the person I request money need to be a member of UPTION?

You do not have to be a UPTION member to request money. We will forward your request. But sending money can be done via UPTION.

52- Can I request money from more than one person?

Yes, you can request money from more than one person divided equally to each person or in different amounts.

53- How will you deliver the E-pin to me that I get?

We will show you the E-pin on the screen after the transaction. You may copy it if you wish. We will also send the E-pin to you via SMS.

54- When will my bill be paid?

Your bill will be paid immediately after payment.

55- Can I pay my bill whose due date has passed?

Yes.

56- Can I place an automatic payment order?

No, but instead you can save your paid bill and view and pay your bill from your saved transactions for your next invoice payments.

57- Through which institution are bill payments made?

UPTION's bill payment service is provided through N Kolay Ödeme ve Elektronik Para A.Ş. UPTION operates as a representative of N Kolay Ödeme ve Elektronik Para Kuruluşu, offering services on behalf of N Kolay with the agent code 9349994.

58- Can I cancel the invoice transaction I have paid?

No. You need to contact the institution related to the invoice you are paying.

59- How many bills can I pay?

You can make a maximum of 5 bill payments per day and 20 bills per month.

60- Do I pay any fees for bill payments?

No. You pay your bills free of charge.

61- What is foreign health insurance?

Foreign health insurance aims to secure access to healthcare services in Turkey for foreigners who reside in Turkey by covering health expenses in case of emergency medical interventions, illness, or accidents.

62- Is it mandatory to have foreign health insurance?

Foreigners deciding to stay in Turkey for more than a year and seeking a residence permit are required to obtain foreign health insurance as part of the application process.

63- How long is the policy valid?

The policy is valid for one year. If you plan to continue residing in Turkey after one year and do not have private insurance, you can renew the insurance.

64- How do I apply for a loan?

You can apply by clicking on the "Apply for a Loan" option in the main menu. You can take advantage of a personalized loan offer or choose the "I want to set the amount myself" option to determine the loan amount and installment number yourself. Once you review and approve the payment plan, the loan will be instantly deposited into your UPTION account.

65- Who can apply for a loan?

Currently, only Turkish citizens and N Kolay customers can apply for a loan. We are working on allowing foreign nationals to apply for loans as well.

66- Where can I make my loan installment payments?

Loan installment payments are made through N Kolay. For any questions regarding installment payments, you should contact N Kolay directly. UPTION only acts as a payment service provider in the loan disbursement process.
